Restaurant at Muntaner Street 7. In front of Muntaner Theater. We went there after leaving the theater and it was very good. Specialized in cheeses. The cheese board to share is very good and the other dishes like the mozzarella salad and the omelette are also very good. The decor is lovely, the service is excellent, but the food was mediocre. We had the tempting 6 cheese platter. The cheeses were not very good. In a city with fabulous cheeses, these could have come from Aldis, down the street. The crackers and 3 sweet jams were also low quality. We had the potato assortment...potato varieties and sauces...also similarly low quality. All the sauces tasted the same. But, it's a pretty place with nice servers, so if it's a forgettable meal, there are parts to enjoy.
Really exceptional food at a fantastic price. We had the fresh sourdough bread, Iberian pork medallions, the Orzo pasta with prawns, and the lamb brioche. For dessert we had the chocolate fondue and cheesecake. All of this was so delicious and the service was great - we're sad we can't make it back a second time during our trip! Well worth a visit

It has exceeded our expectations. Both the decoration, the treatment by the waiters and of course the food. We made some dishes to share and each dish was a success. The tuna tartare was very good, the orzo pasta with squid ink was brutal, the cheese plate was super complete, and a chocolate plate was super good for dessert. It is incomprehensible to me to understand the good reviews this place has, if it is a real disaster and nonsense. I understand that it must be successful because it is in a tourist area. I don't know how to explain it. The place, the organization, the food... the quality-quantity-price ratio is very questionable... It tries to be a reference site for cheese and it is not at all remarkable. Above all, don't order raclette!!! It has nothing to do with the original and they serve you the cheese hard as a rock. For some reason, our table came much emptier than the one seen in other reviews here... On the other hand, your Argentinian waitress (sorry but we didn't know her name) is lovely and she really deserves a ten, her attention is very pleasant and understanding.

The food was just bad and I was surprised by the few facilities for people with celiac disease and pregnant women.
We loved that place, the food and wine is excellent (one of the very few good tortillas in Barcelona), and the service was very helpful! I will go again to try more dishes soon

We went because we like cheese at home and... here they are BONISSIMMMSSS!! We've had a very busy day, the door has been damaged (it's been a bit cold here), but the super friendly staff and the friendly cook have provided us with a fantastic dinner. We will try the rest of the dishes again, for sure!!

The delicious food is 100% worth it, from the symbolic appetizer of seitans to the great cheeses, the smoked sardine or the cod omelette, to finish enjoying some fantastic desserts. 2 and a half hours for the food to be brought to us, we booked at 9:30 p.m. and the first courses arrived at 11:20 p.m., the waiters didn't know anything about it, moderately good food, but everything else was horrible! We will never return! A friend of mine went to complain that it was taking a while to bring the food and they told her "I should drink wine to stave off my hunger" without comment.

I enjoyed the fried appetizer. The steak was good but the potato side with the cheese sauce was the standout. Dessert was okay but not too memorable. I think the dishes were good but I was interested to see how they use cheese in their dishes. I think the restaurant would be much more interesting if they incorporated the cheese aspect into the dishes more. Instead it is a pretty normal restaurant serving food you can find anywhere else.

A really excellent dining experience. We sat on the comfortable terrace, the service was friendly and efficient. Our waiter explained the nightly specials, of which we took the calamari and pork solomillo. The food was very good, tasty and tender. The restaurant is close to the center and there are plenty of bars around to go after dinner. I highly recommend this place.
An experience that has left much to be desired, particularly considering the price. It's not that it's a luxury restaurant, but it's not cheap either. I hate to say anything negative about the service, but the truth is that they didn't give one. The food, very normal, the best thing to highlight is the ham, which is honestly delicious. The rest: To avoid repeating. I don't understand where such a high ranking comes from on Google because it's a restaurant with just the right approval...
We both started with Pisco Sours and then shared three lovely dishes followed by a dessert. A remarkably enjoyable meal in very pleasant surroundings. Thoroughly recommended!

Last night I enjoyed an amazing dinner with friends in a cozy and warm atmosphere. We start with a board of artisanal cheeses and ham, perfect for sharing and trying different intense and unique flavors. Then, I tried the Varieties of Tomatoes with Mató, Figs and Cherry Vinaigrette with Pine Nuts, a refreshing and sweet combination, where the juicy tomatoes were wonderfully balanced with the creaminess of the Mató and the explosion of flavor of the vinaigrette.
Meanwhile, they tried the creamy lamb Bikini with yogurt cream and cheese, which was absolutely delicious, with a combination of flavors that melted in the mouth. To finish, the star dish was the Roasted Octopus in its juice with mashed vegetables, tender and full of flavor. Definitely, an unforgettable gastronomic experience that we will love to repeat. A pleasure to dine at Quesarium. Creative and very well prepared food. Several dishes that incorporate cheese and also options that do not contain cheese. He ruled out the ceviche, the smoked sardines with tomato jam, the fake rice with squid ink and the low Angus tenderloin. The post cheesecake is also very good. A real great find just a short walk away from the centre. They have very nice plate, most of them have a cheese theme but not all of them, beautiful decoration and great staff
Very nice!! Great menu choices and friendly service. We sat in the terrace, but inside is also very beautiful. We shared some a smoked sardine with cheese and tomato marmalade, then for starters the best ceviche I’ve ever had and a buerata with clam…amazing combination. For main course we had a black pasta with calamari and a sirloin steak, all very nice. We skipped desserts to make room for another glass of wine !

Delicious food and great selection of cheeses that is included in each dish! Also, the service is great, everyone is very kind and attentive. Special thanks to the bartender who prepared great cocktails even out of menu! Once we got to see a band performing live downstairs (I think it happens on the weekends) as there is another bar area there. It was a fantastic experience and I always recommend this place to my friends!

Very nice place. The food is really good and well made and the service is great. Cheese is at the center of the menu without, for that matter, taking over. Everything we ate was great. Had a salad with burrata, aubergine chips, tortellini and baby pig.

They provided us with a plate of cheeses as the first courses were a bit delayed, but definitely worth the wait. Unfortunately they made two of the main courses incorrectly, but quickly made the correct ones and even offered us to try the wrong ones if we wanted. They gave us some wine in compensation of the waiting time. We will be back

The place is small, although it wouldn't be a problem if the tables weren't so close together to take advantage of the space. In the basement they have a space to have cocktails (very good, by the way) and live music until midnight.
It is a great success to go there, exquisite food and the best cocktails in all of Barcelona. Paulo attended to us and knew how to advise us and surprise us with the signature cocktails. We will definitely repeat!

Don't just be fooled by its name... a culinary experience to do again and again. I highly recommend. Are you a cheese lover? It is the place to be. Do you like refined and more Hispanic cuisine? Quesarium is a site that represents the best of Barcelona. Very well attended and run by Fabián, a super nice and kind guy. I ate a sweet beef cannelloni that made me see heaven, a super fresh ceviche and I had a delicious cocktail. The place is very classy and the presentation of the dishes gives you a complete experience. Downstairs there is a super cool bar where you can hold intimate and select events.
Great Service by Fabio. Excellent place for Foie Gras (Chef Owner Fabio's recipe), Shrimp, Ham Cheese Croquettes. Keep it up 👍!
Exceptional food, drinks and service. The staff were attentive and personable. Even if you're not a cheese fanatic, the food was sensational. Special mention to our bartender and server Paolo. A very enjoyable experience and one of our best in Barcelona. Highly recommended.
Unfortunately we lived a horror story. We decided to spend New Year’s at the restaurant. Got there at 8:45 and at 11:45 we only had 2 appetizers out of a 8 course menu. People just got up and left after their New Year’s being ruined. Godspeed to the place if keeps open. I certainly will not be able to even walk in front of it without the feeling of regret for having chosen that place. We shall never be back.

Super nice! We went to Quesarium for my girlfriend's birthday and everything was great. I highlight the treatment of Fabián and his team and the food! We enjoyed some cocktails at the bar after dinner and we loved it. Highly recommended
We ate there and honestly, we thought it was expensive for what it offers. The food is good but not spectacular. The cheesecake, clearly could be improved. The waiter very attentive. At noon it is empty.
Last night I had a spectacular dinner with my husband. To start, I enjoyed an exquisite hand-cut Steak Tartar accompanied by cheese toasties, while he opted for an omelet with cod, a delight! For the second, we decided to share and try the Low Angus Loin with potato cake and an incredible bleu d'Auvergne cream, cooked to perfection. To finish, the desserts were the jewel of the night: a soft and delicious Cheesecake and a Torrija that, without a doubt, is the best I have ever tasted. An unforgettable culinary experience. We will definitely return!
Quiet place where you can taste very good cheeses, in our case it was the 5 cheese board and a delicious parmesan cheese cake.

I wanted to share my experience at your amazing restaurant Cheese Bar by Quesarium.
First, I want to highlight the delicious grilled sandwich with homemade turkey beef pastrami with horseradish sauce. It was a delight! The pastrami was perfectly cooked and the horseradish sauce gave it a spicy kick that made it even tastier.
Also, the quark cheese "syrniki" were an unexpected surprise. I had never had this dessert before, and the combination of cheese and sweetness was perfect. I'm definitely going to have to try making these at home.
Last but not least, the strawberry, basil, cucumber and cava cocktail was wonderful. I loved how the flavors came together, and the freshness of the ingredients was just what I needed on a summer night.
We plan to return soon for dinner and a tasting of the best cheeses in the world.

A cozy place with a very attentive and friendly staff. Few places with an atmosphere like this in the Sant Antoni neighborhood. Small, yes, so for groups it may not be a good option.

Spectacular, not the following! We were lucky to visit this new restaurant in the center of Barcelona (Muntaner and Sepúlveda). We have eaten very well! Eggplant and feta cheese dips, salmon with Raclette in the casserole and some fantastic desserts. Then I start the most interesting part: the cocktails! We have tried a few and they are all very original and elaborate. I would like to highlight the very attentive and friendly service. We will return to try the selections of the best cheeses in the world.🤩🧀
Walk past it every day, finally went in and it's exactly how it looks, nothing false about it, really good food & wine, great service, what else do you want?
Cheese was amazing, great selection. Service was spot on too. Lost a star as they needed to check the seasoning on the pasta with blue cheese sauce - almost no salt.
I love this site. The dishes are delicious! Every dish we tried was special 😍

Walk in for dinner last night after Classico game, thinking that it looks a nice good restaurant. The moment I was pointed and not usher to the bar, I rated the service low. I had a pasta and it is cold and had bundle of pasta which seem uncooked(see photo). Frankly, Not impressed.
Came across this restaurant on TripAdvisor so we made a reservation and we could not fault it! Food was beautifully presented and delicious! Thankyou for making my birthday one to remember! 👌

We also tried scrambled egg on brioche with prawns and cheddar, and it was delicious and tender, ideal for late morning food.
In addition, the atmosphere was very pleasant (like for chill music!) and the service in general is very high level.

Disappointed unfortunately, probably it is more of an instagramable place, as the cheese serving is beautiful. However, for those who are willing to actually eat: a Swiss cheese platter for 19,99€ contained little of each of the 4 cheese types, and waiting time for that one platter was apr. 1 hour and 20 minutes. (We had to point out to the waiter that the cheese platter was ready and waiting to be delivered to our table as we saw it standing on the bar for like 10 minutes).
Btw, no one even named what was what of those 4 types. Only 4 numbers were pinned, so as a suggestion I would offer to pin a cheese name, rather than just a number in the future.

Also, a more wine knowledgable person is expected at a cheese place with wine menu. The staff simply did not know what was what. I hope we were unlucky with the shift (2 June in the evening). What a lovely place! The cheese and charcuterie board were delicious, the staff friendly and the wine selection good enough to find something for everyone. My only feedback was the wine I ordered was pre-filled at the bar, not giving me a chance to actually try and confirm I want it, which left me with a class of wine I did not enjoy before I found one that matched my taste. Other than that - great place, lovely ambiance, I highly recommend 😊
Had an amazing brunch! The pre cocktails was so nice and everything seemed so delicious! The staff was extraordinary and even changed my plate and cooked a new one cause I didn’t want fries etc with my omelette. Our waiter was funny and engaging and we ordered cheese by the cheese expert that was very passionate about cheeses and introduced us and explained different cheeses. Will definitely be back!
